Three sessions per week, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes per session. Volunteers may attend one or multiple sessions.

What you'll do
Make reading feel possible.
- Read with small groups of children aged roughly 5–15
- Help children sound out words and develop comprehension
- Build confidence and enthusiasm for books and learning
- Participate in a safe, positive community environment
Commitment
Shaylex requests approximately three months minimum because consistency helps children build trust and make progress.
Who can join?
Students, professionals, retirees, community members, and anyone motivated to contribute. Shaylex can work around your availability.
